Penny Collins
B.A Hons B.Arch, ARB, AAA

Born in Sydney, Australia, Penny graduated in architecture from the University of Sydney and began work with the Government Architect’s Branch of the New South Wales Department of Public Works.
In 1990 she moved to London working with Tony Medows Architects, Nicholas Grimshaw and Partners on the IGUS industrial complex in Cologne, the British Airways Compass building at Heathrow and the Waterloo International Terminal. Privately, she had prize winning entries in the RIBA Monument and Counterpoint and the Sydney Olympic Velodrome competitions. In 1992 Penelope joined the Richard Rogers Partnership to take part in the Zoofenster office and hotel tower project in Berlin.
Between 1993 and 2000, Penny worked with Foster and Partners. Her experience there included the new headquarters building for Commerzbank and Arg insurance companies in Germany, office building projects with the City of London for Stanhope and Hammerson Properties, and the London International Futures and Finance Exchange. She was project architect for two office buildings for slough Estates and was also responsible for design development of the Master Plan for the Petronas University of Technology, Recently completed in Kuala Lumpur. Whilst with Foster and Partners, Pelelope designed the Bombala Farmhouse project in Australia.
