Waterloo Oval
Youth Facility

The Waterloo Youth Service Facility is envisaged as groundbreaking piece of community architecture. The former public toilet block will be transformed into a high quality contemporary workspace, revitalised by an internal courtyard, a landscaped roof garden, and veiled by a growing tensile structure, whilst being robust, low-maintenance and long lasting.
The building will have minimal environmental impact, and is designed to be naturally ventilated with a high thermal performance and use of recycled and recyclable materials.
The project is partially funded by the federal governments stimulus package and is due for completion in late 2010.
