Our 2007 competition entry for the flagship building of Landcom’s redevelopment of Oran Park includes a diverse range of function. These include a sales and marketing centre, community centre, raceway museum, retail, commercial offices and a health centre linked to the centre piece of the development – a new aquatic park and wave pool.
Environmental initiatives developed in conjunction with Cundall include the use of displacement ventilation and natural ventilation as part of a mixed mode environmental strategy and high performance facade utilising external shading made from recycled motorway crash barriers – an economic solution derived from the sites history as Western Sydney’s premier raceway.
